If you are reading this post, then you are probably new to Keto? If you are new, things can get confusing really quick. You just cut out an entire macronutrient group. No more rice, potatoes, fruits, candy, cake, and any other carb food, so shit may leave you wondering what you should or can eat on the Keto diet.

If you need some ideas on how to navigate your way around a grocery store when on a Keto diet, this is the post for you. Read below to get a full shopping list to help you start producing those ketones.


In a perfect world you would only consume grass-fed and grass-finished beef, pasture raised chicken and pork, and wild caught seafood. But I like to keep it real here and some times that shit isn’t possible. Sometimes a bag of frozen chicken wings will hit the spot or your wallet.

Below is a list of meat sources perfect for your Keto diet.

While you probably have spent your entire life hearing how all vegetables are good for you, that is not the case with Keto. Some vegetables can easily knock you out of Ketosis.

A rule to live by is if the vegetable is grown above ground (spinach), then chances are you can eat it on Keto, If the vegetable grows below ground then you should stay away.
